About Us
Music and the culture that surrounds it has always been my biggest passion, long before he was old enough to be going clubs!
From a very young age I always explored the dark types of music, from the mainstream to the weird and wonderful and just about everything in between.
Growing up in the late 1970s early '80s I was introduced to and fascinated by post punk, gothic and new wave movements and was captured and mesmerized by the images and the arising artists and sounds of the era. It is a fascination that has always stayed with me.
In the 90s and early 2000's I have been writing articles, press releases, news, reviews, interviews and contributing a whole host of content to many well-respected printed and online magazines.
After many years of working in the music and broadcast media industries I wanted to find a new home for passionate music lovers, a place for people who lived for the music – as I do – to come together and share our knowledge!
London based Subculture Magazine (Established 2004) focuses on music genres that I hold close to my heart. Subculture Magazine aims to always be on the musical edge, in the forefront of breaking new music whenever it comes to it's features and contents!
